Overview

QuuGan Clouding Video Platform

Realizing the digitization of safe cities cannot be avoided without accessing and managing large-scale camera resources. However, existing solutions either cannot achieve the reuse of front-end devices, resulting in waste of resources, or cannot achieve unified access and centralized management of all monitoring devices, while also having various limitations on intelligence provision. To solve these problems, we propose introducing the chain store mechanism into the video management platform in the overall mode, imitating the distribution mode of the management center and multiple chain stores, thus transforming the traditional single-center management mode into a distributed cloud mode. This greatly improves the management scale and reliability of the entire video platform, while significantly reducing remote bandwidth and storage requirements.

In our internal workflow, we use a multi-layered management mechanism to achieve maximum data reuse on one hand, and to separate upper-level applications from lower-level support on the other hand, thus achieving basic intelligent reuse.

In the end, we can achieve the reuse of overall camera resources and intelligent functions for different applications and business logics in the upper layer, greatly improving the efficiency of the entire platform.

The entire platform is designed with a distributed cloud architecture, integrating cloud storage, cloud transcoding, cloud publishing, and cloud analysis, providing a large-scale, multi-level high-definition video monitoring solution. The scale of single-point access to cameras can reach around 150, and the scale of single-cloud access to cameras can reach over 30,000, with parallel expansion services and plug-in intelligent video analysis, real-time online analysis and historical video analysis, and support for both single-center and multi-center deployment modes for human-machine development.

Transcoding in Cloud

Resolution of the video accessed by mobile devices is adjusted according to the available bandwidth and the performance of the unit, ranging from 1080P to CIF quality. Designated resolution can also be provided under request.
